Yurt Venture: Connecting to what really matters.

Yurt Venture is an evolution of an Oregon woman’s desire to fuse her heritage with the outdoorsy lifestyle of the Pacific Northwest.  Born and raised in Mongolia, Billie fell in love with Oregon while attending college at Portland State University. Ever since, she has been discovering, exploring and enjoying the Pacific NW while starting a business to help others do the same.

Brand awareness in an emerging market.

Yurt’s are a portable, circular dwelling made of flexible lattice walls, dome roof and poles that are covered in felt or other fabric. Providing a truly unique outdoor experience, we wanted to attract customers who were looking for more than a camping accessory, but deeply appeal to those who would like to benefit from the natural outdoor environment, and disconnect from the busy, stressful and distracted world most of us live in. So we worked on a new brand design, website and video to express her story and benefits of an outdoor and active lifestyle.
